fuckyeahmath: I love this problem so much, I saw a lot of people being confused over it so I’m going to explain it. This problem is a hypothesis. It is an “if-then” it is if a=b then 2=1; however a does not equal b, if it did then a would simply equal a because b would be a <3 I love math  since a = b, a - b = 0, dividing by a - b simply denotes that you divided by zero, which is undefined. this proof then, is invalid, and cannot be accepted. proof disproved. :D
